MAINTENANCE

WHAT TO LOOK FOR:
-
Engine oil and filter should be changed every 3,000 miles or 3 months (whichever one comes first) but always consult with your owners manual.
-
Tire inflation and wear should be checked every month. An underinflated tire can lower fuel efficiency and an overinflated tire can cause wear to your tires, decreasing life of your tires.
-
Make sure chassis components are lubricated every 3,000 miles. By doing so you are extending the life of your suspension system.
-
Check headlights, fog lights, tail lights, turn signal lights, and brake lights once a month as a safety percaution.
-
Check windshield wipers every 3,000 miles and make sure they are causing any damage to your windshield.
-
Check air filter at every oil change
-
Check battery cables for corrosion and clean them as needed
-
Check fluids, such as: brake, power steering, transmission, winshield washer fluid, and antifreeze
All of these preventative measures will not only extend the life of your vehicle but also save you time and money. By maintaining all of these things you will spend less time in the shop and more time using your vehicle for whatever purpose.
